ULTRACIF is a device for decontaminating N95/PFF2-S masks using
germicidal ultraviolet irradiation (IUVG).
Designed to be
easy to assemble and scalable, it can be replicated from common
resources and easy access, being an open-source system with wide reach
to all regions of Brazil. In addition, ULTRACIF also values the
user's safety, avoiding any type of direct exposure to type C
ultraviolet light and works uninterruptedly. Thus, the masks are
decontaminated in just few seconds, without the need for maintenance
during the process.
The project was selected by the EDP
Brasil public notice, receiving an amount of R$90.000 for product
development.
